Once you internalise that arc, the game transforms: instead of reacting to the bird, you tap on a steady metronome beat and make small corrections — which is exactly how high scores are set.

You score one point for every pair of pipes you successfully fly through. There is no finish line — the goal is simply to beat your best distance before you hit a pipe or the ground.
Tap little and often to hover steadily rather than lurching up and down, and aim for the centre of each gap. Find a calm, even rhythm, look ahead to the next pipe rather than the one you are passing, and stay relaxed — panic taps are what end most runs.
