Move the paddle left and right with the arrow keys or your mouse, and on touch devices simply slide your finger across the screen. Position the paddle under the ball to keep it bouncing and aim your rebounds at the bricks you want to hit.
Each brick you break adds points, and tougher or higher bricks are usually worth more. You lose a life when the ball slips past your paddle, and the game ends when you run out of lives or clear the wall.
Hit the ball with the edge of the paddle to change its angle and reach awkward bricks, and try to carve a gap up one side so the ball ricochets along the top, clearing bricks on its own. On Hard the ball speeds up fast, so keep your movements small and controlled.
